Performing Arts Scholarship
The Cape Henlopen Educational Foundation Performing Arts Scholarship, formerly the Cape Thespian Alumni Performing Arts Scholarship, was established in 2002 by the Cape Thespians and the Cape Thespian Alumni. The fund is invested with the Greater Lewes Foundation with the scholarship drawn from the variable interest accrued each year. The scholarship is a one-time grant designated to recognize outstanding talent and to encourage continued study in the performing arts. The scholarship committee will consider applicants interested in teaching the performing arts as well. Applicants must be graduating from Cape Henlopen High School in the current school year.
This scholarship is based on performing arts talent, academic ability and financial need. Should there be a need for further evaluation, applicants may be asked to perform at an adjudicated audition. All decisions are final.
The scholarship will be paid to the recipient at the time of graduation.
Completed application packets should be returned to the Cape Henlopen High School Guidance Office.
